About Us

Transport Forum is the State's peak road transport industry body for private freight and passenger vehicle operators.

Transport Forum was formed in 2000 following a merger between the Road Transport Training Council and the West Australian Road Transport Association, the organisations that have represented the requirements of members for over 75 years.

Transport Forum is affiliated with the Australian Trucking Association and is the WA Branch of the Australian Road Transport Industrial Organisation. Transport Forum regularly consults with community members, industry organisations and government agencies.

The organisation is nationally endorsed and provides training, information and resources to the Road Transport industry through its 3 Divisions,Training, Freight, and Passenger Services.

Transport Forum represents all members including, freight forwarders, furniture removers, long distance, heavy and bulk haulage operators, accredited pilots, recovery operators, school bus contractors, charter operators and waste managers.
